Job Description

We are recruiting for elementary level homeroom positions in an international school in Shanghai starting August 2018.  Applicants must have an education degree or teaching license/certification.

The role of a homeroom teacher is well defined in this multi-language setting using the US Common Core as its leading standard in the Reading/Language Arts area. Each classroom has a Western teacher and a Chinese teacher who are both of equal status.  All lessons are taught in English except math and Chinese.

Requirements:
  • At least a B.A. or B.S. in teaching or a valid professional teaching license/certification
  • At least 2 years of education related experience
  • A graduate degree in teaching will earn you a higher salary scale
  • Native English speaker or holds a passport from native-English speaking countries
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary starting at 22,000-27,000+ RMB per month depending upon experience and education
  • Housing stipend 7,500RMB (not taxed with housing invoice)
  • Flight reimbursement up to 12,000RMB (not taxed with roundtrip ticket receipts)
  • Daily transport stipend 2,000RMB (not taxed with transport invoice)
